The agreement, which you accept when you enrol with us, explains our responsibilities, and yours, and may help to avoid any misunderstandings.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all LCS Online courses. Lcsonline.com is part of the London College of Style Ltd.

Please read these terms carefully before you enrol with us. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide the course(s) to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is an issue and other important information. You must agree to these Terms & Conditions before purchasing your course.

3. Refunds

Regretfully the London College of Style does not issue refunds for courses purchased at lcsonline.com. When you enrolled, you ticked a box to agree to these terms. LCS has no legal obligation to refund course fees under any circumstances.

4. Fees

Fees are non-refundable and once purchased may not be exchanged for or credited against alternative courses purchases.

5. VAT

Course costs quote include VAT (UK GOVERNMENT TAX) at the current rate of 20%. The London College of Style certificate of VAT registration number is will be issued on order number when you place an order including the price of the course(s) (including VAT). Lcsonline.com take all reasonable care to ensure that the price of the course(s) advised to you is correct.

6. Copyright

All matertials feautured on the lcsonline.com learning platform are owned by the London College of Style and are subject to intellectual properties restrictions and our ownership of copyright. Our course materials are classified as digital content by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and are made available for educational usage only upon enrolment. By enrolling on your course at lcsonline.com, you agree use the materials for educational purposes only, and agree to not use these materials for commercial use. The London College of Style prohibits the replication, copying, reproduction or adaptions of the use of all and any of materials, digital content, imagery and courses without our consent or permission.

No part of our Lessons, or other course-related documents, may be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted in any form or by any means, including photocopying, recording, or other electronic or mechanical methods.

7. Discount Codes

Discount codes must be applied at the time of enrolment on promotional discounts and cannot be used retrospectively.

8. Termination of Agreement

These conditions shall remain in place until your course is complete and final certificate has been awarded. This agreement covers the period from the point of enrolment until the date we dispatch your LCS diploma when you complete a course. Any services and contact provided outside these periods are entirely at our discretion.

9. Restrictions for Students Under 16

You must be aged 16 or over to enrol on a course with us. Students under the age of 16 will need to provide us with a letter of consent from a parent / guardian or teacher.

10. Course Registration

You must provide truthful, accurate and complete information when registering for your course(s).

11. Changes to Registered Information

It is your responsibility to maintain any changes to your registered information (including your contact details) by altering your details as appropriate.

12. Enrolment

Enrolment is at your own risk and we will not be liable for any unauthorised transactions or communications made using your username or password. You are responsible for the security and use of any usernames or passwords needed to access our website, or any of the content in relation to your course(s). It is your responsibility to ensure that security, and you agree not to allow or assist any other person, without express permission from us, to access content using your account.

13. Course Materials & Updates

From time-to-time, LCS will update course materials, links and references within courses. Updates will improve learning materials, and the materials will continue to match the product descriptions on the course pages and the course description pages. Updates will not reduce the quality of the content that was described upon purchase. Update to your learning materials will be made as and when they require it. This constant updating process means that course structures may change after you have enrolled. New subjects may be added, out-of-date subjects removed, and lesson content, numbers and formatting may differ. Some aspects of our materials, such as hyperlinks, online references, and content relating to digital media and technology may become out of date due to the ever-changing and fast-moving nature of the internet and the subjects of study offered by lcsonline.com. We undertake to update materials every 12 months or more frequently, when we consider it necessary and upon receipt of a reasonable request by email.

14. Access to lcsonline.com

You will be able to access materials for your course(s) from lcsonline.com website across multi devises, 24/7, 365 days a year, where you will be able to submit assignments for marking and access learning materials. Access to lcsonline.com is restricted to one device at a time. Provide you with suitable materials, sufficient for your online course(s). Our materials are fit-for-purpose, and are compatible with all mainstream internet browsers (Google, Firefox, Safari and Chrome etc.). However, we are not responsible if any of our materials do not operate efficiently, or at all, because of incompatibility and your local technical issues with software, hardware, browsers, broadband, firewalls, antivirus or anti-spyware / malware software, or device settings at the user’s end.

Occassionlly, lcsonline.com may need to carry out scheduled mainenance of the website and / or serivces and in the case of unforessable outages which are unabvoiable (for example, internet, internet service provider or router downtime) which may inturrupt service. While this is very unlikely, lcsonline.com will enedour to contact you with via email with updates to schedulled works or distruptions to service and our efforts to resolve these.

16. English

Our courses are currently delivered in English. If English is not your first language, it is entirely your responsibility to ensure that your written English is good enough to study our course materials, and to be able to communicate by email with our tutors and our administration department. Lcsonline.com does not provide language support.

17. Fees & Payment

Our fees cover all of the course materials, the costs of your LCS diploma and all administrative and tutorial support related to the course you have enrolled on. Full payment must be made at point of purchase to access course materials and begin study.

18. Tutor Support

Tutors may be emailed for support, encouragement and assistance. Our responbility is to provide you with access to appropriate expertise to support you during your course(s). You may be assigned a designated tutor for your chosen course, however alternate tutor may mark your assessments or answer enquiries based on availability. Our tutors will endeavour to mark your work within 3 days, (however, during busy periods, our tutors may at the most take longer answer specific questions and replies, depending on the nature of enquiry). Tutor support is not available over weekend periods, public UK holidays and schedulled closure of the college (e.g. Christmas Holiday period). The tutor support offer relates solely to the course conent and support required to complete your assignments and pass the course. The support offered does not cover additional support relating to career paths post-study, job interview and additional education outside of lcsonline.com. While our tutors will try to help with queries, this is entirely at their discretion. Lcsonline.com takes no resposibility for advice and guidance offered outside of this remit.

Tutor support is operational on a daily basis with college telephone enquiried operating from 10am – 5pm Monday – Friday, Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) with exception of UK Bank Holidays and two week Christmas Holiday period where the college will be closed (exact dates will be announced via email notification). Tutor support or telephone enquiried may be suspended during these times.Tutor support is not available over weekend periods, public UK holidays and schedulled closure of the college (e.g. Christmas Holiday period). Lcsonline tutor must only be contacted through the lcsonline.com platform via email or live chat corespondence only, and withouth making unnecesary demands upon their time.

19. Live Chat Facilities

All lcsonline.com courses offer tutor support and live chat facilities. Live chat is deemed to tutor support as offered as part of the service at point of course purchase. Live chat may also facilitate student enquiries in purchasing courses. Live chat is operational between the hours of 10am-1pm and 2pm– 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) with exception of UK Bank Holidays and two week Christmas Holiday period where the college will be closed (exact dates will be announced via email notification). Tutor support (email, assessments or live chat) may be suspended during these times.

When accessing live chat, we endevour to assign you a tutor through lcsonline live chat facilities as rapidly as possible, there may be periods when we can exceptionally busy, and some student requests to live chat with a tutor may result in waiting periods.

Live chat is operational to the best of our ability over varying devices and softwares, however, there may be restrictions to access of live chat on certain softwears or devices. Please contact us on our Tech Support on support@lcsonline.com should you have issues and we will try to resolve these to the best of our ability, however some devices or softwares may not be compatible.

Live chat facilities are not available over weekend periods, public UK holidays and schedulled closure of the college (e.g. Christmas Holiday period).

20. Code of Conduct & Diversity Policies

Lcsonline.com regards each student as unique and believes in helping them fulfil their potential. We welcome all online visitors to the LCS Online Community wIth the courtesy and respect they deserve, and will not discriminate against them because of their: religion, race, gender, creed, sexual orientation, colour, ethnic origin, marital status, age, prior criminal convition or caring or parental responsibilities. In time, lcsonline will be launching a planned LCS Online Community Page which will allow students access to discussion groups with forums, individual students profiles etc. Lcsonlines dicussoin groups and forums will be monitored. Any student who deoes not observe this policy, or engages in unfriendly, thretening or hostile behaviour or comments will be removed from the LCS Online Community pages, profiles, groups and forums.

This Code of Conduct policy is extened to all other correspondence and use of service. You hereby agree to treat our staff, fellow students and tutors with courtesy and respect. We have a zero tolerance policy on hostile behvaiour and will remove you from the course(s) if, in our opinion, your behaviour towards us, other students or any member of our staff, is abusive or hostile.

21. Course Withdrawl

If you wish to withdraw from your course, you may do so immediately by informing us in writing via email at: enquiries@lcsonline.com. LCS offers no refund policy for course withdraw and no rights to transfer credit.

22. Additional Equiptment

For some courses, you may be adviced to obtain additional tools or equiptment. In this case, you can see the equipment you may wish to purchase as clearly stated on the course description page. In most cases, this is optional but it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the necessary materials to complete the course before purchase including hardware and software.

23. Assignments & Marking Return

Lcsonline.com tutor are committed to return marked work whereby constructive and individual feedback on your progress is offered. Course work must meet minimum pass rate of 60 % to pass each module and the course overall. If 60% is not reach you can resit the module. Lcs is committed to providing you with your marking within three working days, outside of UK Bank Holidays, weekend and college holiday closure.

24. Course Transfer

Lcsonline.com courses are not eleible for credit or trasnfer if deemed unsuitable by the user. You are unable to transfer your purchase to another course, or credit your purchase against any other product.

25. Plagiarism

Plagiarism is defined as submmitting someone else’s work or ideas as your own and is viewed as an academic offence by lcsonling.com. You agree not to indulge in plagiarism by submitting work for marking that is not your own. We have a zero tolerance policy on plagiarism. Refunds will not be made in such circumstances.

26. Certification

You will be awared your final Diploma Certification within 10 working days of completion of study provided you have passed the course at 60% pass rate or above. Certification will be issued digitally in downloadable PDF form where you may download and print this should you wish.

27. Your Responsibilities

All studnets are required to ensure that the course is appropriate for you, and that you have the academic ability and the relevant IT and language skills needed to study it and complete it. You may email us or phone us if you wish to discuss your options and your suitability where we are committed to give honest and impartial advice.

By enrolling, you agree that you have studied the course details on our website course page(s), and are completely satisfied that the course is appropriate to:

(a) Your level of academic achievement

(b) Your level of written English, if English is not your first language

(c) Your level of IT knowledge

We take no responsibility and will offer no refund if you discover that a course is too difficult for you or if you decide that any course is inappropriate for you.

You may be requied to undertake sufficient private study to maintain progress on your course(s). This will involve doing your own research to supplement our teaching materials.

You agree to submit work which is your own original work, clearly presented, and which is a true reflection of your knowledge and abilities.

You agree to conduct yourself in an ethical, legal and professional manner when using the name or services of the London College of Style and Lcsonline.com or any of our tutors in job applications, work experience applications, or references.

You agree to ensure that your IT and software equipment works efficiently so that you can participate in the course(s). We cannot accept responsibility if your IT problems at the user’s end, such as incompatible software, broken file associations, or firewalls and other programs, etc., that are blocking access. We cannot provide IT support for these issues, though we may advise when we can.

You agree to take reasonable precautions against computer viruses if communicating with us online.

You accept our Refunds Policy (see the Refunds Policy above)

28. Complaints & Issues Policy

If you are dissatisfied with any level of service offered by the London College of Style’s lcsonline.com platform, please contact a member of our friendly support team who will endevour to resolve your issue as soon as possible.

We will endeavor to resolve any issues that may arise during the completion of your course with a positive outcome for both parties and would appreciate your agreement to not use Social Media channels to access lcsonline.com support in resolving complaint issues, notifiying us of issues or gaining lcsonline.com support.
